Once you pick your destination, make sure that you take the weather into consideration. It might be cold where you are, but warm where you're going, so you need to dress accordingly. This can be especially true if you are going on an adventure-type vacation, such as hiking or skiing. If you are going to give out presents during the Christmas vacation, make sure to pre-wrap them. You will not want to do this when you're on vacation! Take extra care with fragile gifts, as they can be hurt during shipping otherwise.
